Working in the Neighborhood
Working in the neighborhood
Become part of our friendly and committed neighborhood team
No two days are the same in community care! Do you enjoy working independently and is caring for someone in your genes? Then we are actively looking for you.
Make a difference for the elderly
Come work in the community, just like Bianca and Nienke. Working in community nursing is incredibly varied. The situations you encounter vary greatly from client to client, making a workday diverse. The difference you make is significant.
No day is the same
On the electric Brentano bike or in the Brentano car, you head out into the neighborhood to visit elderly people who need home care. From low-threshold care to the more complex cases. One moment you might be assisting with showering and dressing, the next you are visiting a client who requires wound care. You also conduct intakes and evaluations and maintain contact with family members and healthcare providers.
You can schedule your working days and hours in consultation, and they can often be combined with school-age children. There is also the possibility of (internal) training and development within the field.
Nice and committed colleagues
You will be working in a friendly team. They are committed and help each other where necessary. Everyone has the same goal: to give the client a wonderful day. Although you go out on your own, you regularly meet up to start and end the day or see each other for a meeting.
Watch the video footage in which Bianca and Nienke tell you why working in community care is so much fun.
