A cup of coffee with the neighbors, a bowl of hot soup, a cozy drink, a game of shuffleboard, or even a wine tasting. During the Week of Encounter At Brentano, we open our doors to neighborhood residents and residents alike. Because a beautiful encounter sometimes starts with something very small.
Loneliness in Amstelveen
Whether you are young, old, rich, or poor, everyone experiences feelings of loneliness. Loneliness becomes a problem if it persists. Solving loneliness requires a tailored approach. Many organizations in Amstelveen offer help and support to lonely residents. This can be done in many different ways: through training, individual assistance, or an activity.
Better Together Amstelveen is a collaborative network between various social organizations and residents of Amstelveen. We gather and share advice and expertise in the field of loneliness and connection.
From the project BetterTogether Amstelveen Brentano has also created an offer for this through socio-cultural work (Nieuw Vredeveld & 't Huis aan de Poel) and Home Sweet Home.
