“Complete Home Package” – A step towards a longer and more independent life at home
At a time when more and more people wish to continue living in their own homes, Brentano offers the “Complete Home Package” (GeWoon Thuis). With this program, we support the elderly and people who need extra help, so that they can continue living at home longer, more safely, and with confidence.
Care that fits your life
With the “Complete Home Package,” we work together with you, your family, and our GeWoon Thuis coordinator to determine what help you need and how we can best organize it. Together, we look at what is important to you. Unlike regular home care, we arrange care and support in a coordinated manner, ensuring you receive the right care at the times you need it. With attention to your personal situation and what makes your life meaningful.
The difference compared to home care
Home care is typically provided under the Health Insurance Act (or the Long-Term Care Act without Personal Care Budget). Brentano's GeWoon Thuis is provided under the Long-Term Care Act in the form of a Full Home Care Package. Virtually all care is organized and delivered by Brentano.
Brentano does this in collaboration with other organizations. For a Full Home Care Package under the Wlz, Brentano is the point of contact. This is where this care differs from home care, which you often arrange yourself or through your informal caregiver.
Positive Health and Just at Home, what do we mean by that?
At Brentano, we look at the resilience we possess as human beings. Despite illness or adversity, we can continue to lead a meaningful life. This is called Positive Health.
We believe that care is only truly valuable when it is meaningful to you. We look at what is going well, where you could use support, and what is important to you in leading a meaningful life. We listen to your wishes and capabilities with genuine attention. In this way, skills you can perform independently are preserved for as long as possible.
In addition to the care you need, you might enjoy listening to music, playing a game, or having a nice cup of coffee with others. An important part of GeWoon Thuis therefore also lies in the area of well-being.
By viewing care in this way, we place more control in the hands of the person concerned: you. We work together with you and your loved ones, with attention to what makes your life pleasant and meaningful. In addition, this way of working helps to keep care well-organized and feasible in the future.

Long-Term Care Act (WLZ)
To make use of “Volledig Pakket Thuis,” you need an indication under the Long-Term Care Act (WLZ), which is assessed by the CIZ (Centre for Care Assessment). Do not worry, we are happy to help you with the application for this indication. If you already have such an indication, it is easy to convert it to “GeWoon Thuis.”
With GeWoon Thuis, we support you to continue living as independently as possible in your own familiar environment. We do this together, with attention to who you are and what makes your life meaningful.
