Our mission and vision

Our mission and vision

Nice to meet you! We are Brentano.
Together for a dignified life.

Brentano has been a committed and trusted elderly care organization since 1821 in
Amstelveen and the surrounding area. What truly matters to people is central to us: dignity.
living, aging with dignity, and dying with dignity. We believe in the power of togetherness and
provide care and support that suits a person's wishes, values, and stage of life.

Our core values Together, Attention and Meaningful form the heart of our organization.
They determine how we interact with each other, how we collaborate, and how we care and well-being
design.

Together with clients, relatives, colleagues, volunteers, and partners in the region
we build well-being and quality of life every day. With professional commitment,
craftsmanship and room to learn and grow, we make the difference, in every
meeting. That way we are always nearby.

Mission & vision

Why are we here?
We are here so that people in Amstelveen and the surrounding area can grow old and die with dignity. What truly matters to people is central to us.

How do we do that?
We believe in the power of togetherness and are committed to our community (a good neighbor), where people are self-reliant and mutually resilient.

We work based on the principles of Positive Health and are committed to preserving people's autonomy and resilience. We do this through genuine attention to people and their networks.

We are committed to the job satisfaction of our people; through meaningful work in which people experience shared satisfaction and enjoyment, we utilize talent and offer room for personal and professional growth.

What do we do?
We work based on “what someone values”, and together we realize appropriate answers to that need. By ensuring that the need is met through the deployment of (technological)
aids, family, network, other agencies, or by filling them in as Brentano. We organize efficiently, sustainably, and in connection with our partners in the Amstelland region.
