A person is much more than his or her disability or advanced age. In addition to care and nursing, a person also simply wants to have a pleasant day with something extra every now and then.
The Friends of Brentano Foundation is responsible for the extras.
Friends funded annual donations to the BoodschappenPlusBus, and many diverse performances.

About the Friends of Brentano
The Friends of Brentano have been active in Amstelveen since June 17, 1987. Their goal is to offer the residents of the care facilities of Stichting Brentano Amstelveen just that little bit extra. They do this by providing financial support to wonderful initiatives and purchases that cannot be paid for from Brentano's regular budget.
To make this possible, the Friends raise funds and contribute ideas for projects that make residents' lives more pleasant and meaningful. They are in regular contact with the Board of Directors and staff at Brentano to see where their support makes the biggest difference.
The board members of the Friends of Brentano work on a voluntary basis and receive no compensation for their work.
