Improving healthcare together
Where you live, we are close by. Together with you, your loved ones, neighbors, volunteers, and healthcare professionals, we give meaning to care every day – with attention to what is truly important.
How is everything going? We’d love to hear about it!
Is things not going so well? Please let us know as well, so that we can improve together.
A compliment makes us happy, a tip keeps us sharp.

Brentano Complaints Procedure for Involuntary Care (Care and Coercion Act)
We also have residents who are unable to look after their own interests, who cannot care for themselves, and who pose a danger to themselves or others. Their position is regulated under the Care and Coercion Act (Wzd). The Act includes a separate right of complaints for these clients.
Client Confidentiality Officer Voter
For questions regarding (the application of) involuntary care or regarding Wzd complaints, you can contact the client confidential counsellor. The client confidential counsellor can also support you in filing a complaint with the Complaints Committee on Involuntary Care (KCOZ).
The client confidential counsellors can be reached at:
Phone: 06-40385306
E-mail: c.klaasing@stemgever.nl
Complaints Committee for Involuntary Care (KCOZ)
Brentano is affiliated with the KCOZ for the handling of Wzd complaints.
Complaints cannot be submitted directly to the KCOZ, but only via Brentano.
We then contact the KCOZ secretariat and receive a code allowing us to log in to the portal and securely upload the complaint. The KCOZ contacts the person who submitted the complaint and the complainant. The complainant also receives a code allowing them to log in to the KCOZ portal. Both the complainant and the person against whom the complaint is directed have constant access to the complaint file via the portal.
You can file a complaint under the Care and Coercion Act by sending an email to:
klachten-wzd@brentano.nl
The KCOZ will then handle the complaint further.
